Playset

Scott and Tyson started putting the swingset together. They are about half way finished and hopefully it will be completed next weekend.

Zemba Family Fun Day

Unexpected Events....

Friday was my last day of work so I could rest and prepare for the arrival of the twins.  I had a weekly scheduled non-stress test Friday afternoon at the hospital to check on the babies.  After about 40 minutes, the nurse seemed concerned with the amount of contractions I was having. She called Dr. Swan and was instructed to "check" me and found I was dialated between 3 and 4. As a result I was admitted into the hospital where I stayed in bed until 8:00 pm Saturday night.  Now that I am home, I am on level 3 bedrest and our goal is for me to make it 36 weeks.

Luckily Mandy and Tyson were planning a trip down to spend the weekend. They played with Ryan, cleaned the house, went to Zemba's Family Fun day, started putting the swingset together, took Ryan to the Starlight playground and did many loads of laundry!

THANK YOU AUNT MANDY AND UNCLE TYSON!!

ZING, ZANG, ZOOM

On Thursday evening we went to the circus at Nationwide Arena with Jessica, Jaycee, Janice (Jaycee's grandma) and Auntie LeighAnn (a friend of Janice who was a huge help with Ryan for the evening)!  I really didn't know what to expect and how Ryan was going to sit but it was awesome!  The show lasted about 2 and 1/2 hours and it was filled with excitement. There wasn't too much time in between acts so Ryan's attentions was kept steadily.
The show featured elephants (a crowd favorite), zebras, horse, dogs, tigers, trapeze artists, ribbon artists, girls being shot from a cannon and we can't forget the clowns!  It was a late night getting home but worth every moment!
I am going to try to post video but I'm not sure I can figure out how....

Connor's First Communion

On Saturday Ryan and I want to celebrate Connor's First Communion at Holy Trinity Church in Somerset. He was the first student to read in front of a packed church and did a great job!  Afterward we went to a reception to honor the whole second grade.

Softball or Rocks?

Thursday evening Ryan and I met Abby at the West M softball game for Senior Night. Ryan liked the rocks more than watching the game. He also like the suckers from the concession stand! He always wants to buy suckers but he doesn't even like them!

Daddy's Little Helper

Scott was preping the yard for the fence by spreading a dandilion treatment and Ryan was very interested in the seed spreader.

Trampoline

Our neighbor, Elizabeth, has a large trampoline which Ryan loves! Whenever we are in the backyard he wants to jump. I make him bounce on his knees because he is very courageous and I'm afraid he's going to fall off!
