Pizza Picnic

Monday evening Scott's friend Jeremy and his family were in town so they stopped by for some play time. We ordered pizza and sat outside and ate.  I didn't get too many pictures because the batteries died but you get the point!  They were into the water table, sand box, jeep and swingset. They played very well together and Ryan is excited to go to Max's house in a couple weeks!

Gus Macker

Sunday it finally quit raining so we went downtown to the Gus Macker basketball tournament. We were there long enough to watch Kevin Martin play for about 10 minutes then Ryan was ready for his sno cone and Scott was ready for a waffle!

Meeting Charli

Saturday we traveled to Somerset to finally meet and hold Charli!  Ryan kept asking to hold her and wanted to lay with her also. I think he is going to be a SUPER big brother!

Introducing baby Charli Lynn Graves

I got a text from my sister around 5:10 AM on Tuesday June 1 telling me they were on their way to the hospital in labor. SOON after that I received a phone call at 6:10 AM from Ashley telling me she had a little (well not so little) 9 pound 3 ounce baby girl!  Ashley was dialted to 8 cm when she arrived at the hospital therefore no epidural! They finally decided on a name and agreed on Charli Lynn.

An exciting morning

Today Ryan and I ate breakfast on the porch so he could watch the backhoe dig in the street. The three boys up the road were on their porch as well!  I guess its every boys' dream to have construction equipment in their front yard!  Oh and while we were out there Ryan wanted to put his "work" helmet on too! He wanted to wear it to school but I made him leave it in the car.

Whose got the keys to the jeep?

Maddie and Ty came over to ride bikes up and down the sidewalk but we ended up in the backyard to ride in Ryan's jeep. Ryan felt very proud to drive them each around the yard and Ty especially liked being his passenger!

S'mores

Ryan had his first s'mores experience!  We roasted marsmallows on the grill and enjoyed the treat for the first time.  Ryan really enjoyed them although I think he would have been just as happy eating the whole bag of mallows alone!
