New Friend

Ryan came home from school today excited to show me something out the window.  On the way in Scott spotted a bunny so we just watched him from the window for about 10 minutes. Ryan had a lot of questions about him...what was he doing? where does he live? what does he eat? does he like noodles?????

I was allowed to sit outside on the swing last night and just kept snapping photos of Ryan laughing at Elizabeth.  He is becoming more loud and dramatic every moment!

Final Products

Around 8 AM yesterday, Tommy arrived to help Scott finish up in the backyard. The playset was finished around 2 PM and the fence gates were up by 6ish.  They broke for dinner but were back out working and cleaning up until a little after 9!  Ryan absolutely loves his "playground" but I love the fact that he can't escape!  The only thing left to do it to mulch under the set and clean up flower beds!
Thank you Scott, Chris, Mark, Kodey and Tom for tackling these rather large projects!
Also, Thanks to our parents for supplying us with enough dinners to get us through the week and Mom, for doing ALL 6 baskets of our laundry!!!!

Updates and Progress

Some updates on our recent events and projects....

1)   I went back to the doctor yesterday and there was no change in my cervix which is GREAT!  The plan is bedrest until 36 weeks, see what happens and if no babies by 38 weeks, we will be induced around June 16.

2)   Sunday evening Scott and our neighbor Chris spent about 5 hours digging holes and cementing fence posts.

3)   Tuesday night Scott and Chris (Garber) spent quite a while at Lowe's purchasing all the necessary equipment for the rest of the fence.  While they were out Juna, Maddie and Ty came over to play with Ryan.

4)  Wednesday Scott took the whole day off to work on the fence. Him and Chris started working on the posts around 8:30 AM and then Uncle Mark and Kodey arrived to help the rest of the day.  Ashley and Camryn also came down to help with the indoor chores such as dishes and laundry.  By 5:00 the fence was finished except for the gates which will be tackled this weekend!

I am very excited and grateful to Scott and all of our friends for their hard work!  The fence will make the summer much more manageable for Ryan!!!!

Playset

Scott and Tyson started putting the swingset together. They are about half way finished and hopefully it will be completed next weekend.

Zemba Family Fun Day

Unexpected Events....

Friday was my last day of work so I could rest and prepare for the arrival of the twins.  I had a weekly scheduled non-stress test Friday afternoon at the hospital to check on the babies.  After about 40 minutes, the nurse seemed concerned with the amount of contractions I was having. She called Dr. Swan and was instructed to "check" me and found I was dialated between 3 and 4. As a result I was admitted into the hospital where I stayed in bed until 8:00 pm Saturday night.  Now that I am home, I am on level 3 bedrest and our goal is for me to make it 36 weeks.

Luckily Mandy and Tyson were planning a trip down to spend the weekend. They played with Ryan, cleaned the house, went to Zemba's Family Fun day, started putting the swingset together, took Ryan to the Starlight playground and did many loads of laundry!

THANK YOU AUNT MANDY AND UNCLE TYSON!!

ZING, ZANG, ZOOM

On Thursday evening we went to the circus at Nationwide Arena with Jessica, Jaycee, Janice (Jaycee's grandma) and Auntie LeighAnn (a friend of Janice who was a huge help with Ryan for the evening)!  I really didn't know what to expect and how Ryan was going to sit but it was awesome!  The show lasted about 2 and 1/2 hours and it was filled with excitement. There wasn't too much time in between acts so Ryan's attentions was kept steadily.
The show featured elephants (a crowd favorite), zebras, horse, dogs, tigers, trapeze artists, ribbon artists, girls being shot from a cannon and we can't forget the clowns!  It was a late night getting home but worth every moment!
I am going to try to post video but I'm not sure I can figure out how....
