Riding Bikes (with NO training wheels)

A few weeks ago, we went to Dillon to let Ryan practice riding his bike without training wheels. Scott held on for Ryan to get on the bike and thats it! Ryan just took off. He is still learning how to stop so look out if he is riding towards you :)
We also walked down to the beach (staying far away from the infested waters) and met a friend of Ryan's from Genesis.

I'm still convinced I can learn to take professional-like photos of the kids.  Obviously, I'm not there yet and getting frustrated trying to figure out all the settings like aperture and shutter speed. But we can just keep enjoying the practice pics of the kiddos in the meantime!

Rocketman

 3-2-1....
Ryan received this rocket for Christmas last year.  It is huge! The kids have played in in all afternoon. We are still working on giving it some color but that will be an on-going process ;)

Date Night

After our softball tournament we decided we needed a date night. It was a very spur-of-the-moment decision which isn't really like us but it was fun.  The kids really like our babysitter, Maddie so that makes it easier to leave for an evening.

Softball Tournament

Saturday Scott and I played in a softball tournament for the bank.  One of his co-workers offered to bring her high school-aged daughters to watch the kids.  It was a fun day but we were 0-2 and it was hot!

St. Nic Festival

 Ryan and Brax

The kids went through this fun house about 30 times

The "big kids"  were so dizzy when they got off of this ride, they almost fell over

 Ry and Maddie
 Brax and Ty

Tony was in charge of Rat Roulette.  Scott and I volunteered on Friday night in different shifts.
Wednesday evening we headed to the opening night of the St. Nic festival. The Palandranis, Brownriggs and Garbers were there also.

Learning

 Painting setting
Although its hard to see a lot of detail in the setting, I love it!

It's hard to see but the bush in the background is green while everything else is B/W
So this might be my favorite new setting on my camera! I can pick what color I want it to recognize and everything else is black/white.

Mommy and Ry time turned into "mommy experimented with camera time". He was tired of me telling him to smile.

Mommy and Ry Time

When the girls are napping Ryan and I spend some quality "alone" time playing outside with the cars in the pool
