Story Time

Apparently Reese wanted to be close to her books as she was picking out one for me to read.

Cook Out #3

 Reese and Daddy
 Charli
Noah making some homemade Mt. Dew Slushies to go with Mom's homemade ice cream.
Mom bought all the kids Nerf water guns. This bad boy takes batteries and is easy for Ryan to shoot since he doesn't have to pump it.
The girls trying to avoid the water that Ryan is shooting at them.

On Memorial Day we went to mom's for our last cook out of the weekend. Of course, the food was amazing and we ate way too much!

Cook Out #2

 Camryn
Reese and Reagan would not let me put their swimsuits on so I didn't fight them on this one!
Carter and Reese were fighting over the mower just seconds before I took this picture.
Tony and Ty getting a little batting practice in!
 Juna in charge!
 Sun bathing beauty!
Connor was kinda bored but he was a good sport about it. I guess 4th graders would rather be with their friends instead of family! I can't imagine why!

I can only imagine the conversation that is taking place here!

Cook Out #1

Saturday afternoon we went to my Dad's in Glenford for a cookout. It was HOT but the kids kept themselves and us cool with the pool, sprinkler and water guns.
I think we were outside from 10 AM-7PM so you'd think the girls would sleep better but they were completely spastic when we got home.

Lunch Time

I heard him saying his prayer before he started eating.

After Connor's game we went back to Ashley's to play and eat lunch outside before heading to Dad's.

Stud Muffin

Saturday morning we decided at the last minute to go to Connor's baseball game in Somerset. I'm going to brag a little bit but I'm very proud of him! He usually plays second base or short stop but pitches in relief as well. He bats clean up and has hit 8 triples in 9 games!

Elephant

Reagan is not a fan of getting wet by the elephant. She was soaked from the water table however.
 Of course Ryan loves it!
Reese had to hide on Daddy's lap when the wind blew a mist over her way.

Good Times at NLE

John and Wamer grilling hotdogs and hamburgers. The kids ate outside under the trees.

We slipped down a 50 foot homemade Slip-n-slide! It was one of the best activities of the whole year! I went down abut 50 times and will be lucky if I'm able to walk tomorrow!
Another water station was water balloons and balls. Good thing it was close to 85 degrees!

Shevon giving instructions on how to tie and dye the shirts.
The finished products!

Today was our Good Behavior Reward Day, Cook-Out and Tye-Dye day!

3 Little Monkeys jumping....

Reese was jumping from the ottoman on top of Ry and Reagan. They all seem to be enjoying this :)

Rding

We had to put the training wheels back on Ryan's bike. He tried several times to ride without them but just isn't ready yet. He is still very proud of his Hot Wheels bike and CARS helmet!

More Outside

Ryan was convinced that running around in his underwear was okay. Eventually he did put his shorts on...after Uncle Tony made him.
 Love these facial expressions!
The kids new thing is to scream in other's face. Usually this happens for no apparent reason.
Reagan was pushing the gas pedal with her hand and moving 2 feet. She was stop and laugh hysterically with Reese.

More Visitors

Teddy enjoyed the Dune Racer very much!
But I think he liked the water table more!!
Camryn and Charli arrived Saturday afternoon as well. They were both spending the night so Aunt Ashley and Uncle Marky could have some adult time.

I think they were trying to escape. (Note that Reese is standing in a baby stroller)
