Congratulations Carter!

On Sunday Carter was Baptized and then followed by a lunch reception at his house. We didn't make it to the Church but we headed out to the Fitz's to join the celebration afterward. Ryan had to take close up pictures of all the guests!

Bluffton

On Friday afternoon we headed 3 hours North to spend the weekend at Aunt Mandy and Uncle Tyson's. Grandma and Grandpa were there too as well as Tyson's family.

One of my new favorite pictures!! This was on the walk home from the game.

Oh The Places You'll Go

A favorite book of Ryan and I!  He thought it was hilarious that it was on their shirts!

Crib Madness

Okay, first of all I felt bad enough even taking this picture and secondly, feel even worse that I'm putting it out there for the world to see but....here's the story!
It was 1:45pm and the girls hadn't taken a nap all day (up since 7am)! So I decided to put them in their crib and let them "cry it out" to fall asleep until 2:00 then I'd go get them if they were still awake. Well I checked in on them a few times as they were screaming and as hard as it was let them continue-until this!  At 1:58 when I looked in Reese had turned herself completely around and rolled over!  Her leg was in Reagan's mouth and Reagan was sucking on it and both were beat-red crying :( . I chuckled, ran to get the camera, took a quick pic then grabbed them up, rocked them to sleep and we all took an afternoon nap together on the couch! :)

More Bumbo and Smiles

Again, the girls were taking turns in the bumbo while we played with toys and read books. I love when they notice each other and smile! Reagan loves to look at Reese and Ryan.

Lovies

I found these super cute lovies (security blankets) on eBay. I want to keep them with the girls but Scott doesn't want them attached to anything. From what I've read, its good to have something that smells and reminds them on home once they go to the sitter, especially since the do not take a pacifier. They do enjoy chewing on them and cuddling with them!

Super Fans!

We all got dressed in our Notre Dame gear as we were preparing to watch the game.  Scott went to Tony's and I was home with the 4 darlings so needless to say I didn't get to watch much of it!
Sharing a pregame snack of peantbutter-filled pretzels and reading one of 50 books they took off the bookshelf!

Pictures worth sharing

I don't typically put the girls in front of electronics but I really had to brush my teeth and change my clothes for the day...it was already close to noon! They are at least watching something educational!  Baby Einstein is great because they like the simple shapes and sounds and bright colors.

It was just an accident

Ryan and I were outside playing tee-ball while Scott fed Reese and Reagn sat in her bouncy seat. After a while Reagan started fussing so I called a time-out from our game to get her. Ryan thought since we were outside it was okay to throw his large, heavy, plastic bat but...it came flying right to Reagan's head!  She immediately started screaming and Ryan started crying. He knew he was in trouble because we have talked a lot lately about not throwing things. He was very upset that he hurt his little sister and apologized with a kiss on the head.
Scott gets nervous when Ryan goes this high but Ry has no fear!

Ry and Reagan pre-accident!

Bumbo

Reese and Reagan love sitting in the bumbo chair that we are borrowing from Maddie and Ty.  We will definitely be investing in a second one!

Game Day

On Saturday Notre Dame played Michigan so Jessica, Jason and Jaycee came down to watch the game with us. They are Michigan fans and of course, we are not!  The game didn't go our way but it was great to have them down and for Ryan and Jaycee to get to play together!

Jessica holding Reese in a way that I hadn't thought of! It worked since she was cranky and needed a nap. Turns out she had a double ear infection :(

Awwww Hugs!
